Brass Pole IPA

Uncategorized — brewery @ 7:20 am

Many of our India Pale Ales and American Pale Ales have strong citrus hop flavor and aroma. This new IPA is a bit different due to the use of an extreme hop known as CTZ in the dry hop addition. CTZ is an acronym for Columbus-Tomahawk-Zeus and these hops have a characteristic spicy, herbal-like aroma and resiny, pine-like hop flavor. When experiencing this medium bodied ale you will get a long delivery of hop bitterness that plays out into a sticky pine flavor.

Raspberry Pyro Porter release Monday 8-17-09

Uncategorized — brewery @ 9:48 am

We added 15 pounds of red raspberries per keg (1#/gallon) to the original Pyro Porter recipe to create a new twist on this milk, chocolate porter. This beer is best described as raspberry-chocolate porter.

When tasting this brew sour raspberry aromas will invite you, while dark fruit and chocolate flavors will keep your attention. This beer is similar to a liquid dessert and will also be a perfect match for any of our house made sweets.
